The main concept and naming of this band comes as the essence of all of his previous bands whether as trio or group compiled together. it gathers the spirit of the Arabic Maqams (Mugams or Maqamat) within the melodies, mainly played with the oud or the oriental guitars, over Funk beats, all inspired from Rock and Latin traditions, yet mixed up with modern Jazz harmonies.
